A one-off piece inspired by visits to Shanghai and the surrounding regions. Western fast food chains such as McDonalds or KFC are massively popular amongst the younger generations while the traditional tea rooms have become tourist attractions only.

No Time for Tea was made in 2013 from brightly coloured hand printed and dyed fabrics that were cut and pieced together. Further layers of print were added before the piece was layered and machine quilted. The quilt is supplied with top and bottom hanging sleeve.
